Internal Agenda 01 02 03 Trends Web Trends Configuration Key Points to Application Remember Internal Trends web application Trend user interface Trend Library contains all the trends that are configured in the system. Trends can be listed individually, or they can be organized within folders. Use the Library to select the trends you want to view, the display pane layout, sharing options, etc. Trends display pane – shows the trends selected in the Trend Library. A created trend automatically opens in the display pane when selected in the Library. Select multiple trends to be shown simultaneously in the display pane. Axis title Confidential Property of Schneider Electric | Page 6 Internal Trend options Options are available in the upper right area of the trend in the display pane Open the Diagnostic Log Viewer: icon appears only if there is an information, error, or warning message associated with the device View list: Setting for the time range on the X-axis Inspect: Acts as toggle to enable and disable the inspection mode for the trend Edit: Opens the Trend Setup dialog. Download trend data as CSV: Saves the trend data that is displayed in the diagram in a CSV file on your system. Maximize: Displays the trend in a full browser page Close: Closes the trend. Confidential Property of Schneider Electric | Page 10 Demonstration Internal Adding and configuring a trend In the Trend Library, at the bottom of the panel, click Add Trend Trend Setup Dialog General settings 1. Enter a title for the trend 2. Add (or Edit) Data Series: Sources and Measurements Select sources organized by Devices or Hierarchy Views For the selected source, expand a measurement type, and click the specific measurement Color / Line Weight / Decimals 3. (Optional) Select Display Name if you want to enter a series name of your choice for trend data purposes. 4. (Optional) Select Display Units and enter a unit description of your choice. 5. Modify Style, Decimals, Axis plotting, overlay and data source (real-time, logged, or both) Data Series dialogue 6. Select Private Trend to keep this trend private, or clear the check box to make it public. Confidential Property of Schneider Electric | Page 11 Internal Configuring a trend Axes settings Max Value and Min Value are set to Auto by default. (Optional) Select and enter the maximum or minimum values for upper and lower thresholds. Select a target line. Chart settings: Select text size, position of the legend and content to include in the legend. The default content selections are Name and Value. The additional selections are Difference and Difference (%). Data display settings: Specify the Data Update Intervals in the From device and From database dropdown lists. Specify the Data Points for the x-axis of the trend in the Max Trend Setup dialog Data tab per series input field. UTC -1 Operator may choose to view trend UTC -1 Meter data is displayed according to data in meter local time zone or operator’s local time zone (browser time his/her local time zone (browser zone) so that operator can analyze what time zone) happens to different sites at the same time of a day, i.e. 8am in each of the meter time zones. Trends may view real-time data and/or historical data in the same diagram. Trend data may be exported as a.csv file for further analysis in a third-party tool.
