It has been and will keep offering practical benefits to new graduates. Senior High School is the additional two years of secondary education which was implemented on (2016) to make sure that high school graduate is equipped for work, entrepreneurship, or higher education. The Senior High School fall under seven core curriculum: Languages, Literature, Communication, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences; and three Academic Tracks: Academics, Technical-Vocational-Livelihood, and Sports and Arts. The Academic track includes three strands: Business, Accountancy, Management (BAM); Humanities, Education, Social Sciences (HESS); and Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM). The petition claims that the K to 12 Program will increase joblessness and depress wages, only bring additional burdens to Filipino youth and their parents, and worsen educational woes. On May 20, 2018, a few weeks before the graduation of the Senior High School pioneers, Department of Education stated on their website that sentiments and questions on social media pertaining to the supposed plan to scrap the K to 12 Basic Education Program are clearly based on misinformation and lack of critical discernment. Philippine Business Education stated that Senior High School institution helps students prepare for tertiary education. Transition from High School to college will not be very difficult since Senior High School graduates already know what to expect in college education. Graduates are ready to join workforce because students of Technical-Vocational-Livelihood Track and Sports and Arts Track offers hands-on training and provides National Certificates (NCI and NCII) and Certificate of Competency (COC) enabling them to be more employable, productive, and flexible to the changing requirement of the industry. Senior High School also proposes skill competency in the global job market. The institution has improved mathematical, scientific, and linguistic competence that can be taken within two years to master a field and enhance students' skill. Some parties appeal to cancel the Senior High School institution, and there are some who strongly support its implementation. For the latter, Senior High School helps the students be prepared for tertiary level, ready to join workforce, and skill competent in the global job market. Senior High School institution has been implemented and practiced now for six years. Removing it and returning to 10-year Basic Education Program will only bring chaos. Instead of antagonizing the program, it is best to support it and help improve its implementation. Supporting the graduates whether they choose to further their education or enter the world of work will help them boost their confidence and be successful individual in future. **Conclusion** Some parties appeals to cancel the Senior High School institution and there are some who strongly supports its implementation.
