Kasimov\'s troops. 1841 - election of Kenesara Kasimov as khan. 1846 - death of Makhambet Otemisuly. 1847 - the Kapal fortification was laid - the future residence of the Russian bailiff on the territory of Kazakhstan. 1847 - Kenesara Kasimov\'s invasion of Kyrgyz territory. 1857 - the first watermill was built on the territory of Verniy (Almaty). 1858 - uprising against Kokand rule in the territory of Southern Kazakhstan.
