Who am I as a curricularist? 1. The DepEd and CHED articulated the competencies that should be developed among students in the new K to 12 program. Although, I have some reservations about it, I implemented the new curriculum. 2. I modified the role play procedure to make it more strategic and effective in facilitating critical thinking. 3. I teach several subjects weekly. Hence, I anticipate the resources and materials I need to use for the following week or within the month by keeping a record of calendar of my classroom activities indicating the teaching and learning devices to prepare ahead of time. 4. I created a poem for my students to analyze and reflect upon. 5. I enrolled in the graduate school to gain deeper knowledge and advanced skills in my discipline. 6. I make it a point to use my syllabus and deliver the most effective strategies to attain the learning outcomes in the classroom. 7. I prepare a table of specification to fairly measure the learning achievement level of my students. 8. I read further about my topics and study them conscientiously before coming to my classes. 9. I am teaching research classes. The new Data Privacy Law has to be integrated in teaching research ethics, thus, I included it among the topics for discussion. 10. The DLP that I am using malfunctioned abruptly when I am about to deliver a lecture. It cannot be used and no available projectors can be borrowed elsewhere in the school. I immediately shifted to a different strategy and learning activity to fit the situation and attain the learning outcomes. Reference: Bilbao, P. P., et. al. (2020).
