**Scienze lesson: the parts of a plant.** 1. **Objctivies:** **Linguistici**: - expand you english vocabulary relating to the parts of a plant. - Use new words in simple sentences. - Listen and understand short descriptions of plants. **Scientifici:** - Identify the main parts of a plant (root, stem, leaves, flower, fruit). - Understand the functions of each part. **Contents:** - **vocabulary**: root, stem, leaf, flower, plant, grow, water, sunlight, soil. - **Functions**: the root absorbs water and nutrients from the soil. The stem supports the plant and transports water and nutrients to the leaves. The leaves produce food for the palnt. The flower is involved in reproduction.
