In the event that any changes are made, the revised terms and conditions shall be posted on this website immediately. 4 Nissan Assistance Benefits ON-SITE SUPPORT In the event of the immobilization due to a flat tire with spare available, dead battery, gear/steering locked or being locked out of your vehicle and as long as said problem can be repaired in the place of the immobilization, Nissan Assistance will proceed with the on-site repair, paying for the labor and travelling expenses of a technician to the place where the incident has occurred. Neither the supply of parts or replacement element, nor material in general are included in this coverage. Assistance will be provided in parking lots, city streets, motorways, national, regional, and local roads, as long as the vehicle cannot be transferred on its own to the nearest repair shop. TOWING When a Repair on-site is not possible, Nissan Assistance is authorized to tow the immobilized Vehicle to the nearest Authorized Nissan Service Centre from the location where the Vehicle was immobilized. If the Beneficiary specifies a preferred Dealer or Repairer, Nissan Assistance will tow the vehicle to this specified location. The cost of transportation to this location is covered up to USD 150. If the cost exceeds USD 150, the Beneficiary will have to bear the additional cost to be paid directly to Nissan Assistance. In such cases, the specified Dealer or Repairer must accept the vehicle without refusal. If the specified Dealer or Repairer refuses to accept the vehicle, the Beneficiary will bear the cost of a second towing service. REMOVAL OF THE VEHICLE If while travelling on ordinary roads, the Eligible Vehicle was immobilized due to overturning or falling down a slope or getting stuck in sand, Nissan Assistance will arrange its removal, up to two cases per year. For this benefit, the vehicle should be in accessible condition. For off-road recovery, the maximum distance from the nearest ordinary road should not exceed 10KM. The maximum amount payable is USD 300 in respect of removal of the Eligible Vehicle necessitating the use of a crane. In the event that an expense was to occur in excess of the limit of this guarantee, it would be charged to the Beneficiary. FUEL DELIVERY If the Eligible Vehicle runs out of fuel, the Beneficiary may require Nissan Assistance to provide fuel up to the amount permitted in the territory covered, up to a maximum of 10 liters. BATTERY JUMP START If the Eligible Vehicle does not start due to the battery being discharged, Nissan Assistance will take care of recharging it, using a technician approved by Nissan Assistance. LOCKOUT If the Beneficiary cannot access the Eligible Vehicle due to the keys being locked inside the Vehicle, Nissan Assistance will provide a locksmith to open the vehicle door, paying for the Locksmith’s labor charges. In the event that any changes are made, the revised terms and conditions shall be posted on this website immediately. 5 Nissan Assistance Benefits TIRE REPLACEMENT If the Eligible Vehicle has a flat tire, Nissan Assistance will take care of replacing it with the spare tire, using a technician approved by Nissan Assistance. Neither the supply of parts or replacement elements, nor materials in general are included in this coverage. For this benefit, the spare tire, jack, and necessary tools should be available and in good condition. JOURNEY CONTINUATION Should the Eligible Vehicle become immobilized due to an Accident or Breakdown while on the road, the Beneficiary is entitled to receive the taxi service to continue their journey or return home. The Beneficiary is entitled to maximum of two services per year within the city limits. ACCOMMODATION Should the Eligible Vehicle become immobilized and require repair, Nissan Assistance will facilitate hotel accommodations of up to 4-star standards. This provision extends to a maximum of US$100 per night, for a period not exceeding three (3) days. This assistance is contingent upon confirmation through the Dealer's issued certificate or report verifying the inability to repair the vehicle. This service is extended to the Beneficiary’s immediate family members (example spouse / kids / parents) If they are travelling with the Beneficiary at the time of the Breakdown or Accident. RETURN TRAVEL COSTS (REPATRIATION) If the duration of repair exceeds 72 hours following the Accident or Breakdown, Nissan Assistance will cover the expenses incurred for returning both the Beneficiary and the vehicle to their Usual Place of Residence. This provision is subject to validation through the Dealer's issued certificate or report confirming the extended repair time. This service is extended to the Beneficiary’s immediate family members (example spouse / kids / parents) if they are travelling with the Beneficiary at the time of the Breakdown or Accident. PICKUP & DROP-OFF FOR ROUTINE MAINTENANCE (SERVICE PICKUP) Retail/Private vehicle owners are eligible for Free Pickup & Drop-off service for maintenance. Please contact your respective Authorized Nissan Dealer for more information. This service is available 2 times per year and is not carried forward to the next year. This service is only available when booking for service 24 hours in advance.
