Comply with the law You must comply withthe food and beverage law of the countries where you manufacture and sell products. Our Quality Policy summarizes the essential elements of our commitment, including: eveloping, manufacturing and providing products and services that are trusted and preferred in order to D enhance quality of life and contribute to a healthier future; Maintaining high food safety standards in all countries in which we operate; Challenging ourselves to continuously improve our management systems to guarantee product quality and safety aiming for zero defects; and Inspiring ownership of product quality and safety by all employees and third parties in our value chain. Make sure that Nestlé's imported products comply If a non-Nestlé company sells other markets' Nestlé products that you didn't import, you must do these actions: 1. First, make sure that the non-Nestlé company has Nestlé's permission. 2. Then, if it doesn't, evaluate the situation in your market's Issue Round Table (IRT)and make a business decision. We call this situation uncontrolled trade. 💡 When a company has permission from Nestlé, Nestlé, the company or both, makes sure that the products comply with the local law. The permissions include these contract alternatives: an import-export contract with a Nestlé market a contract with Nestrade or NITR a sales contract with a Nestlé market as a third-party distributor 💡 If the company doesn't have permission, as a business decision, you may do one of these actions: Tell the trader and agree on a solution. Tell the authorities. Ask Nestrade or NITR to import the products. Escalate. Tell the Nestlé Zone or Corporate.
