Another view states that Jesus was at ease with culture and therefore wants us to embrace it, not change it. Others feel that Jesus was in and above culture; he would sometimes go along with cultural values and other times have nothing to say since he was above such concerns. Some might say that Jesus and culture will always be battling one another since people are caught between the values of culture and the values of faith. Finally, Jesus is seen as someone who transforms culture. This view seems to be the most consistent with Catholic thinking. Eros: this is sexual love. It is a passionate love, pleasurable, spontaneous, even instinctive. Storge: this is family love - the love children have for their parents and parents for their children. Philia: this is the love of friendship - the warm and tender affection felt between two friends. Agape: this is the love of charity. It is a love that involves sacrifice. It can even be given to enemies. 5 types of justice: Judicial, Individual, Social, Distributive & Ecological (Unit 6) Judicial Justice: pertaining to judgment in courts of justice or to the administration of justice: the judicial system.
