Max Scheler's hierarchy of values says that there is an objective order for values due to their nature with higher values being more complex and morally important. It is not a static structure; rather it is a flexible arrangement where pleasure, health, justice or the sacred are arranged according to the worth they have in relation to each other thereby encouraging individuals to lead a life which is meaningful and fulfilling through the pursuit of higher values.
