Prove that the two expression can be added to each other. Vector quantities is physical quantities that have both numerical and directional properties A scalar quantity is completely specified by a single value with an appropriate unit and has no direction. Adding Vectors Vector addition is very different from adding scalar quantities. When adding vectors, their directions must be taken into account. Units must be the same All of the vectors must be of the same type of quantity. For example, you cannot add a displacement to a velocity. Any vector can be completely described by its components. It is useful to use rectangular components.
