Purpose This policy expresses the agency’s mission statement which shall be used as a catalyst for guiding members in their professional activities. 2. Policy It is the policy of the agency for all sworn and civilian members to make an earnest contribution to the success of the mission, vision, and values of the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office. 3. Procedures A. Our Mission Serve the public in partnership with our community, to protect life and property, prevent crime, respect human rights and resolve problems. We will ensure the peace and safety of all citizens by upholding the constitution of the United States and state of Florida. B. Our Vision Is to provide professional law enforcement services to our citizens and visitors while we foster community partnerships and provide our members with a work environment that promotes community service, innovation and teamwork.
