The Layout 1.This is the zoom in / out function, very handy when the size of the picture just too big. + is zoom in - is zoom out The picture sometimes appears like this after you paste it into Paint, it is too big and you have to scroll in order for being able to see everything. The solution is to use the zoom out function. What is Canvas? Canvas is the white area where you can paste your picture and edit it. When you paste a picture that is bigger than the canvas, the canvas automatically adjust itself to the size of the picture. When your canvas is bigger than the picture, there is going to be a white area on the bottom and right side of the picture. You can adjust the size of the Canvas by dragging the little dot in the corner or side. The dots in corners and centres of the sides are there to set your canvas’ size. Cropping a picture • Cropping is the removal of unwanted outer areas from a photographic or illustrated image. • The process usually consists of the removal of some of the peripheral areas from the picture, to improve its framing, to change the aspect ratio, or to accentuate or isolate the subject matter from its background.
