What is Paint?
- Microsoft Paint (MS Paint) is a software used to draw, color, and edit pictures.
- It can be used to edit imported pictures from digital cameras.
- Paint can save creations in standard formats such as .jpg and .png.
Opening Paint
- Paint can be found by using the search button/icon on the bottom taskbar.
- Type "Paint" in the search bar to find the Paint app.
- Alternatively, Paint can be accessed through the Start menu > Windows Accessories > Paint.
Editing a Screenshot
- Screenshots submitted as part of a bug report require a red box around the issue.
- To add a screenshot to Paint, right-click the file and open it in Paint or paste (CTRL+V) the screenshot directly into Paint.
- From the "File" tab, you can open the screenshot you'd like to edit and save an edited screenshot.
