# Organizational Structures This document describes different organizational structures. It outlines various approaches a company can take to organize its employees and projects. ## Structures * **Product-Based:** Employees are organized around different products offered. * **Matrix Structure:** Employees report to two bosses—one functional and one product-oriented. * **Project-Based:** Employees are grouped into temporary teams for specific projects. Once a project is completed, the team is disbanded. * **Holocracy:** A structure with distributed authority, where individuals can have multiple roles within the organization based on needed skills. Rules are clearly defined. * **Sociology:** This technique uses observation to visualize relationships between members using a graph. * **Human Resources:** This is responsible for managing employee lifecycle: planning, hiring, and supporting, through project completion or departure (voluntary or not).
