SR 9.14.01 (b) - Departure semi automatic stop signal working as manual to pass defective or ON position (As per GR 9.14 when any Semi automatic stop signal working as manual to pass at ON or Defective Authority will be T/369 (3b) as per chapter 3 section – H) d. A&C No. 29 (T/375) in IB 2. Revised – a. SR 3.75.01(ii) – To pass IB at ON, SM will give through IB post Telephone , Pvt. And ID No. (Normal speed is not mentioned as previously). b. SR 3.74.04 (a) -Authority to pass IB at ON is T/369(3b) with Pvt. No. and ID No. Hand signal not required. (About single line nothing is mentioned so it is applicable for both S/L and D/L) 3. Means of communication – Fixed Telephone with CUG Sim will added (FCT) 4. Authority for working relief engine /Train on obstructed line is T/C 912 (D/L and S/L) 5. Authority for working during TLS is T/E 912 (New Form) 6. Added – The following USR are added by Railway Board – a. S.R. 9.12/1:- In case of failure of signal or signals between two or more block stations in Automatic block system – Follow rule GR 9.02 or GR 9.07 as the case may be ( T/A 912 not to be issued) b. S.R. 9.12/2 i. S.R. 9.12/2 (A) Failure of signal/s between two or more block stations in Automatic block system likely to last for some time or cause serious delay when means of communications are available ( Prolong Failure) 1. Decision to be taken by Sr. DOM/DOM 2. Put all semi automatic / manual despatch/ reception stop signal in manual mode and ON position initially. 3. Loco pilot will get T/D 912 which includes a. Authority to proceed with Pvt. No. (Line Clear) b. Authority to pass Signals in ON position c. Caution Order 4. Speed a. First Train 25/10 Kmph b. Other Train sectional Speed c. Facing Point 15 Kmph 5. Starter / Mid section Gate to be Passed by hand signal and after ensuring Gate are closed and locked. 6. Received at station by signal/ calling on/ T/369(3b) 7. Silent on Topic when last of signal defective and there is no Auto signal between two Consecutive station 8. It is applicable for both S/L and D/L. ii. S.R. 9.12/2 (B): Failure of all signals likely to last for some time and cause serious delay when no means of communications are available in Double line ( D/L TIC) 1. Loco pilot will get T/B 912 which includes. a. Authority to proceed without Line Clear. b. Authority to pass Signals in ON position c. Caution Order 2. Speed a. 15/10 Kmph b. Facing point 15 Kmph 3. 25 min Time interval will be maintained between two trains. 4. Starter / Mid section Gate to be Pass by hand signal and after ensuring Gate are closed and locked. 1 5. Rear protection 250-250-10 m. 6. Approaching the next station- Stand out side the semi auto/ manual Reception stop signal 7. Received at station by T/369(3b) 8. Hand over authority to SM. 9. If communication become normal then worked by SR 9.12/2(A)- T/D 912 c. S.R. 9.12/3 :-Rules and Regulations for working of trains under the Automatic Block System during obstruction of one line when signals are operative and communication are available (on Double Line Sections) ( TSL) i. The decision to introduce TSL and between two station should be taken by Sr.DOM / DOM (in-charge). ii. Before each first train running in wrong/right line, first ensure previous train arrived completely with exchange of Pvt. No. iii. Loco pilot of all trains will get T/E 912, which includes 1. Line Clear Ticket with Pvt. No. – 2. Authority to pass Signals in ON position on wrong line and Right line separately. 3. Caution Order - A caution order which shall clearly state :- a. The line on which the train or light engine is to run; b. The kilometres between which the obstruction exists. c. Any restriction of speed which may have been imposed; and d. The instruction that Automatic signals in the wrong line should be considered as out of use even though they may be showing ‘Proceed’ or ‘Caution’ aspect e. The train started on the wrong line shall be piloted out of the station after all the concerning points have been correctly set and locked. f. Location of the Neutral section if any. iv. Speed – 1. Every First Train running in Wrong line/ right line 25 Kmph 2. Subsequent Train running in wrong line sectional speed. 3. Subsequent Train running in right line as per aspect of signal / sectional speed. 4. Facing Point 15 Kmph. v. Flasher Light - While running on wrong line switch ON Flasher Light. vi. First Train in wrong line to stop and inform Gang man and Gate man. vii. For each first Train of right line, follow the procedure Train running in wrong line and authority T/E 912 to be issued. viii. Subsequent train running in right line may be allowed to follow each other as per signal aspect. In T/E 912 line clear ticket to be strike out and station in rear has to be inform the station in advance with exchange of Pvt. No. for each such movement. ix. At next station Wrong line Train stop before the point opposite the Semi-Automatic/Manual Reception Stop Signal pertaining to the correct line or the Semi-Automatic/Manual Despatch Stop Signal pertaining to the wrong line on which he is running or any Shunt signal protecting the outermost Cross- over, whichever he comes across first, and sound one long whistle and Pilot In by T/510 ( Manual/ Semi automatic signal if any to be passed on authority T/510 but it is not mention in authority ) x. At Station right line train to be received on signal /calling on/ T/369(3b) d. S.R. 9.12/4 Rules and Regulations for Single line sections in Automatic Block System when no means of communications are available in case of failure of Automatic signalling (S/L TIC) i. For Opening communication – T/B 602 + T/A 912 (Signal not to be taken OFF) ii. Return journey T/G 602 or T/H 602 + T/A 912 + T/F 912, Speed Normal iii. Working First Train T/G 602 or T/H 602 and T/A 912 iv. Subsequent Train T/G 602 or T/H 602 + T/A 912 , Speed 25/10 Kmph v. 30 min Time interval will be maintained between two trains. vi. protection 250-250-10 m. after 10 min 2 e. S.R. 9.12/5 Rules and Regulations for single line working on double line sections in Automatic Block System due to obstruction of one line when no means of communications are available in case of failure of automatic signalling ( D/L TSL and No communication) i. Follow GR 9.12/4in addition to it – ii. Communication will be open by the station master for which the unobstructed line is right line, after certified by SSE/JE (P-Way) that the line on which TSL working is to be introduced is free and safe for passage of Train. 1. Caution order – L O S T to be mentioned. 2. All cross over point clamp and padlock. 3. For right line Trains a. semi automatic / manual despatch stop signal pass at ON by T/A 912 and hand signal from foot of the signal. b. Approach stop signal of the advance station may be taken off. 4. For wrong line trains a. Pilot out by T/A 912 and T/511 b. Train to stop opposite the first Stop signal pertaining to the right line or at the last Stop signal pertaining to the wrong line (on which his train is running), whichever he comes across first. c. Pilot in by T/510 5. Light Engine going for opening communication inform the gangman /gate man. f. S.R. 9.12/6: Rules and Regulations for Single line sections in Automatic Block System when means of communications are available but direction of traffic cannot be established (S/L communication available- DOT not established) i.
