The Four Types of Miricles 1. Healing Miracles 2. Exorcism Miracles 3. Nature Miracles 4. Exorcisms, in the book of Mark, were always in the context of healing, or bringing someone back into a state of “cleanliness” or “purity”. He then went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Waves and wind violently shook the boat causing panic among the disciples. Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. The Walking on Water When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. Jesus told them to have courage and not to be afraid. Peter said, “Lord, if it’s you, tell me to come to you on the water.” Jesus replied with, “Come” The Walking on Water Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But then he became afraid because of the waves and wind. Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. He said, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?” The Walking on Water This is a nature miracle This miracle shows how Jesus is always there for us, especially in times of distress He wants us to always put our faith fully in Him and to not doubt. 05 Jeopardy Wedding Feeding Walking Miracles Feast 5000 on Water 200 200 200 200 400 400 400 400 600 600 600 600 Work Cited https://www.catholicculture.org/culture/library/dictionary/index.cfm? id=34899&randomterm=false https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew%2014%3A22- 33&version=NIV https://www.christchurchmemphis.org/stories/beyond-bread-and-fish-a-message-of- trusting-god http://www.johnhamelministries.org/miracles_four_primary_types.htm https://stmarks-hr.weebly.com/sermons/healings-miracles-and-exorcisms What Are the Four Types of Miracles?
