As a consumer of information, you must understand which of the information you get are true and correct. As a producer, you must make sure that the information you disseminate is valid and accurate. Let’s ponder… In what ways do you utilize the power of media and information? FACT OR BLUFF Nothing is private on social media. Media provide economic opportunities for people of all ages. Abuse in media and information usage can risk the consumer himself/herself. The user (consumer or producer) is more powerful than the means (media and information) Due to the influx of information that people receive everyday, many people no longer have the time and opportunity to fact- check every information that they consume. “With great power comes with great responsibility.” - Uncle Ben (Spider-Man) Nothing is private on social media.
