Health checks to ensure boat is being steered in the right direction. ​ Can have other metrics, but these are only to be looked at if the top level metrics are flagging something is a-miss. ​ They use PageFly for Landing Pages. Can quickly and efficiently get any type of page live. Utilise Landing Pages for different types of campaigns. ​ They use MadEgg for AB testing on Shopify. ​ Semrush has been key for them. They doubled down on Organic Traffic. They do not utilise email marketing at all. They have a list of 11,000 subscribers so may have questions in future about this. ​ Conversion rate isn’t always about looking pretty, most of the time its the page you dislike the most that delivers the best CR%. ​ Explained expanding into countries with other languages isn’t as simple. Translation has to be mother-tongue as any direct translations that don’t land well with audience tank conversion rate. ​ Every country has unique specifications and require different USPs. Focus groups and audience tests required to maximise ad spend. Kevin Clarke - Head of eCom at Sculpted by Aimee ​ Once they had strong recognition in Ireland, they expanded to the UK. Found UK very tough to break into. Costs on marketing were very high. Were willing to sacrifice margin from Ireland audience to build on UK market. ​ Haven’t a huge presence in EU countries, but are currently expanding into East Coast US. ​ Carry out Awareness Surveys. They had a 2% awareness (2 out of 100 people knew their brand) in the UK. Since they carried out brand awareness, that’s up to 5%. ​ Use KickBox to keep Klaviyo list clean. They have a list of 210,000 profiles, and regularly kick unengaged profiles to keep their Klaviyo bill as low as possible. Kickbox identifies profiles that are unengaged, that are no longer in use, that are set up through a VPN and that are ineligible. ​ Affiliate Marketing makes them 25% of revenue in the UK. ​ Check out Webgains for Ireland/EU and Awin for UK market. Platforms that streamline affiliate marketing. ​ Linkby for more editorial coverage. ​ Tactic to use above platforms on a local basis - target affiliates in specific locations and then follow up with retargeting and Out of Home marketing. ​ For UK, check out Blue Light Card and get registered as they get a number of monthly orders through there. ​ Other membership clubs like AER Club should be signed up to. ​ Look at Rakuten Marketing for affiliates in the EU as it’s the largest on the continent. ​ Review TikTok influencers, especially the ones in tech and working with iPhone tips, androids tricks etc. ​ VideoWise on their product pages - if a user engages with video on product page, 11% more likely to convert. ​ Duel platform for UGC. It’s a close network affiliate. ​ Skeepers for AI powered UGC. ​ They used TapCart to set up their App with Shopify. ​ Grover does rentals for tech. ​ When expanding into new markets, do focus groups and awareness surveys. Build on non-brand campaigns initially, then retargeting, then brand campaigns. ​ Use affiliate marketing to get fake word of mouth and build local trust.
