CLASSROOM Arranged according to: NAME or GENDER File Explorer Views Windows 10 file explorer lets you view your files and folders in eight different ways. How to change views 1st way to change view 1. Open File Explorer in the task bar 2. Select the “View ”Tab 3. Find the “Layout” Section and choose what type of view is needed. How to change views 2nd way to change view 1. Open File Explorer in the task bar 2. Go to the folder where you want to change the view of and right-click to show the options. 3. Select “View” and choose the type of view you need. Types of Views ExtraLargeIconsView It provides the largest image of file or folder. LargeIconsView It displays large icons for files and folders. MediumIconsView It displays medium-sized icons. SmallIconsView It displays small icons. ListView It simply lists your files and folders. Each entry includes an icon and the file or folder’s name.  Details Displayed: Date Modified Type of File File Size DetailsView It displays small icons with file and folder names, as well as additional information about the file. TilesView It also displays an image of the file or folder and it’s filename, file type, and size. They appear like rectangular tiles on the screen. ContentView It displays your files in separate rows showing detailed information about your files and folders. Grouping Files The “Group By” feature lets you organize files according to their characteristics.  GroupBy>Name GroupBy>DateModified GroupBy>FileType Select how you want the files to be grouped.
