It is a kind of sport, profession and recreation of climbing or going up mountains. This sports challenge an individual’s capabilities and skills plus it also a great way to be one of the nature. Mountaineers also find climbing as a form of relaxation and exercise. HREE BASIC FORMS OF IMBING DEPENDING ON THE TRACK CONDITION 1. ROCK CLIMBING OR ROCK-CRAFT This is very popular among amateur climbers. This form of Mountain Climbing involves rocky slopes and avalanches. 2. SNOW AND ICE CLIMBING OR SNOW CRAFT It is more for expert climbers. This is much dangerous climb because it involves routes with glaciers. COMPETITION CLIMBING Competition climbing is a competitive form of climbing done on artificial structure and climbing walls. 5. HILL WALKING Hill walking involves walking over mountainous terrain and venturing through exhilarating landscapes with fabulous views. Specialist skills needed include map reading, terrain judgement and navigation. Boots, warm and waterproof cloths are required as the weather in hills and mountains can be inclement and sometimes difficult to predict accurately 6.
