Have you ever had a lump, bump, felt unwell or had something weird happen to your body. Likelihood is everyone has, unless you’re immortal or extremely lucky. So… in this sense, lets consider and discuss. 2 WHAT IS PATHOLOGY? 1) What is your understanding of the term “Pathology” 2) Why may pathology be important? a) To us in general b) To us as podiatrists 3 PATHOLOGY DERIVED FROM 2 GREEK WORDS PATHOS LOGOS Disease Study 4 PATHOLOGY THEREFORE…. Pathology is simply referring to the scientific study of disease and disease processes. Including the causes and consequences of disease.
