The song lyric or quote must be shown to lecturer for approval. ü Song lyric or the quote ü What is the song/quote about ü The artist  Assignment 1: Manuscript Design (Week 1 - Week 5) – 20% In this assignment, student required to create a manuscript design which inspired by Early Renaissance Movement. Student need to produce a manuscript design based on the theme and concept given by the lecturer. Student need to create an illuminated manuscript page based on a song lyric or quote of their choice. The song lyric or quote must be approved by lecturer. In their artwork, the students used symbols and images to visually represent the meaning of their quote or lyric, and demonstrated purposeful use of colour and line.  Assignment 1: Manuscript Design (Week 1 - Week 5) – 20% Next, student need to use watercolour, poster colour or marker to write out their quote/lyric, and create design for the: – Capital Letter – Miniature illustration (Image), – Illuminated Manuscript Frame.
