The Edge Bander Main Control Panel The main control panel of the edge bander that is used in our lab allows the operator to turn on and off the machine as well as to choose a variety of settings. The panel will allow operations to be turned on/off, such as end trimming, surface trimmin...
The Edge Bander Main Control Panel The main control panel of the edge bander that is used in our lab allows the operator to turn on and off the machine as well as to choose a variety of settings. The panel will allow operations to be turned on/off, such as end trimming, surface trimming and auto infeed, but also allow the operator to control the glue pot. The glue pot operating and stand by temperatures can be set on this panel, as well as the time at which the automatic stand by activates. Operating temperature is set between 190 – 220 degrees Celsius Stand by temperature is set between 100 – 160 degrees Celsius Stand by activation time is set between 4 – 30 minutes A: Edging Reel Key (Enables machine to work with banding on the reel holder) B: Temperature Key (Switches glue pot from stand by to operating temp. and back) C: End Trimmer Key (Enables the end trimming unit) D: Emergency Power Button (Immediately cuts the power supply to the machine) E: Power Control (Press to start up machine) F: Feed Belt Control (Turns infeed belt on or off) G: Trimming Head Stop H: Trimming Head Start I: Slats Key (Enable machine to work with Solid edges) WOODWORKING - IWWT 150 1 POWER TOOLS 2 © 2014 Humber - School of Applied Technology
