WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY (AT) AND INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGY (IT)? ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY (AT) is used to meet the needs of individual students (e.g., screen magnification software, word prediction software) INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGY (IT) is technology that supports the whole classroom instruction and assessment (e.g., Kahoot, smartboards) WHAT DOES IDEA (2004) SAY ABOUT ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY?
