The term "Laro ng Lahi" (Filipino Indigenous Games) was coined and popularized by the Samahang Makasining (Artist Club), Inc. The word "Laro ng Lahi" was conceptualized by the group and it was the first act to research and preserve the Filipino indigenous games like (syato, patintero or harangantaga, taguan, dama, holen, tumbang preso and others). Traditional Filipino Games or Indigenous Games in the Philippines are games commonly played by children, usually using native materials or instruments. In the Philippines, due to limited resources of toys for Filipino children, they usually invent games without the need of anything but the players themselves. Their games' complexity arises from their flexibility to think and act. Make a five sentence essay on the following questions given: 1. Why do you think Laro ng Lahi is an important subject to teach in school? 2. What are the values that you will learn in playing the Pilipino traditional games, do you think it plays a vital role in shaping our character as Filipino citizens?
