**[INDEPENDANCE DAY SCRIPT]** A bright and cheerful morning to respected principal ma'am, executive coordinator, teachers and all my dear students. I, Manisha Jaiswal, am here to take you on a joy ride of our India--- Meri Matr Bhoomi, Mera Hindustan. I feel extremely fortunate and privileged to welcome you all today to the 77th year of India's Independence Day Celebrations at OESIS. [ ] I feel proud to be a part of the largest democracy of the world which is so rich in culture. Independence day is not just a date on the calendar, it is a day that fills our hearts with pride, reminding us of the sacrifices made by our brave freedom fighters. This independence day we find ourselves in this nostalgic where freedom, spreads its wings into our minds and soul. Acknowledging and paying our gratitude is the "Meri Maati Mera Desh" campaign, which marks the culmination of Azaad ka Amrit Mohatsav. What awes me is their compassion and love, who laid their lives without any hesitation for one and one goal only, Swatantrata. Today is the day when our forefather's dreams of self rule turned into reality. Indeed its a day that saw the dawn of freedom, a new beginning, a novel chapter in India's vast and varied history. Lets dive into the festivities and take a moment to salute our great nation. Now I would like to call upon Pratima Ma'am to take through the next set of program. --------------------------- A big round of applause for the wonderful performance by the students of pre-primary! Now put your hands together for the students of grades 1 and 2 who will be presenting a patriotic skit! ------------------ Wow, that was an amazing performance by the kids! Don't you think so?! Lets have a big round of applause for them! Moving ahead, I would like to invite grade 2 students for their dance performance. ------------------ Thank you children! that was indeed a wonderful performance! ------------------ Now we have a few budding singers amongst us. Lets welcome the students of grade 1 to showcase their singing talent! ------------------ That was surely melody at its best! Thank you children for such a captivating performance! ------------------ Todays celebration was perfect blend of traditions and modernity, as we witnessed the enthusiastic performances of our talented young students, Freedom in the mind, faith in the words and pride in our hearts, lets salute the nation on this Independence Day. Today is the day when our country became independent and our dream of living in an independent country came true. I feel so proud in saying this, "Saare jahaan se accha hindustan humara". And now i would like invite our ever encouraging and beloved principal ma'am to come up on stage and enlighten us with her motivating thoughts. ------------ Thank you ma'am for such encouraging words.
