Mr. Harper, a policeman, decided to know why they had been missing. He learned that all the missing cats had last been seen near an old farmhouse that was closed. Mr. Harper bravely entered inside the farmhouse through the windows. As he walked in the corridors, he noticed a secret locked room hidden away at the back. When he got closer, he was surprised to hear loud, sad sounds of cats meowing. It became clear to him that someone had been trapping them. Mr. Harper found a strange notebook filled with symbols and drawings of ugly cats. On one of the walls, he saw a picture of a strange man who had once lived there. It was clear that this man, who used to dislike cats, had built the secret room to hide them. Mr. Harper carefully unlocked the door and began to carry the frightened cats out one by one. After that, he successfully returned them to their owners. Additionally, he managed to arrest the strange man. The man was found hiding in a large box in one of the rooms. The secret was finally clear, and the owners of the cats were happy and thankful to the policeman.
