What does Liturgy and Gospel mean -Liturgy: people getting together to worship God through prayers, readings and music -Gospel: means "Good News" -- a reading from the book of Matthew, Mark, Luke or John Unit 4: 1\. The 7 signs of a healthy relationship [-Mutual respect:] When friends show each other KINDNESS, CARE, AND CONSIDERATION; when they LISTEN to each other, HELP each other, SUPPORT each other, and INCLUDE each other as often as possible [-Trust:] When friends can share their feelings with one another and not feel worried or afraid that they will be laughed at or ridiculed [-Honesty:] When friends tell each other the truth about what they are thinking and/or feeling and do this with great care so as not to hurt the other person. Not everyone feels comfortable talking about things that bother them when they come up. Some people shy away from difficult conversations. Some people confront the problem head on. [-Call to family, community, and participation.] We believe people have a right and a duty to participate in society, seeking together the common good and well-being of all, especially the poor and vulnerable. How we organize society. [-Rights and responsibilities.] The Catholic tradition teaches that human dignity can be protected and a healthy community can be achieved only if human rights are protected and responsibilities are met. Therefore, every person has a fundamental right to life and a right to those things required for human decency. [-Option for the poor and vulnerable.] put the needs of the poor and vulnerable first. [-The dignity of work and the rights of the workers.] If the dignity of work is to be protected, then the basic rights of workers must be respected---the right to productive work, to decent and fair wages, to the organization and joining of unions, to private property, and to economic initiative.
