How to Play TABLE TENNIS How to Play A game is won by a player Game or pair if they score 11 points ahead. If tied at 10, the first to gain 2 points wins. A match consists of the best of any odd number of games. The winner is the first to win 3 or 4 games based on rules. Scoring A point is scored by ending a rally successfully. Server's score is announced first. Errors include: Failure to return the ball Returning the ball outside the opponent's area Letting the ball bounce more than once before hitting Touching the ball multiple times Striking the ball without bouncing on their side Moving the table or touching the net or post Change of Ends and Serving Order The winner of a toss decides serve or end. Service changes every 2 points. In doubles, the previous receiver serves and his/her teammate receives.
