They are used in education, health and medicine, recreation and entertainment, and government. Computers are used in education to get information. Students can use computers for researching in the Internet Education has also evolved using the Internet for mobile learning. Computer technology is also used in the field of medicine. Information now can be digitized, and electronic devices to help patients have been developed. People who are hard of hearing can now have hearing instruments that can be adjusted to precise measurements using computers. The field of recreation and entertainment has also been penetrated by computers. Movies can be created with the help of software Imaging. Watching movies and cartoons can also be done with computers. The government also uses computers. Records are computerized for faster transactions. Traffic control is also done using computers. People spend a lot of time in front of their computers. Their bodle are physically stressed without them even knowing it. They acquire bo habits when working in front of their machines. These bad habits co cause injuries and pain. How can we avoid these bad habits? Here are some practices to help keep us healthy while using computers. 1. Arrange our workstation regularly. 2. Modify our body mechanics. a. Make sure that eyeglasses fit properly. b. Sit \"tall\" and straighten our backs. c. Rest our wrists during breaks. 3. Move. We should move to relax our muscles and prevent stiffness. We can take short breaks by going to the kitchen and drinking a glass of water. 4. Exercise while we work. d. Slowly rotate our necks and shoulders. e. Squeeze our backs by pulling our elbows to our sides. f. Drop our arms to our sides and shake them a bit. g. Rotate our wrists. h. Fan our fingers. Spread our fingers as far apart as possible. i. Curl our toes. Circle our feet slowly from our ankles. j. Cup our hands over our eyes for 30 seconds. Roll our eyes. k. Look away from our computers and observe distant objects. 5. Distance. Position the monitor at least 20 inches (51 cm) from your eyes---about an arm's length distance.  **Online Security and Safety** Online Safety is being aware of the nature of the possible threats that you could encounter whilst engaging in activity through the Internet. Online safety refers to the act of staying safe online. It is also commonly known as internet safety, e-safety and cyber safety. It encompasses all technological devices which have access to the internet from PCs and laptops to smartphones and tablets. Being safe online means individuals are protecting themselves and others from online harms and risks which may jeopardize their personal information, lead to unsafe communications or even effect their mental health and wellbeing. **There are several aspects for online safety and security:** 1. Preventing access to inappropriate internet content. 2. Safety and security when using email, social media, chat, messaging, forums, or other forms of electronic communication. 3. Preventing unauthorized access such as hacking or other unlawful activities. 4. Restricting access to harmful materials. **Rules in online safety and security** 1. **Don't give out personal information.** It's important not to share your password, name, address/neighborhood, school or information about your family with anybody online.  2. **Don't agree to meet anyone in person that you met online.** Unfortunately, some people sometimes pretend to be someone they're not. It's safest not to agree to meet people in person, even if you've talked to them at length. If you are truly interested in meeting up with someone you met online, talk to a grownup so they can help determine the safest way (if any) to do so. 3. **Protect your passwords.** Don't share your passwords with anyone except for your parents. When you log into an account using a public computer, be sure to log out before leaving. 4. **Ask for help if you are scared or uncomfortable**. Some scammers may try to frighten you into clicking a link or sharing personal information. If you ever feel unsafe or uncomfortable, remember you do not have an obligation to respond to anyone online and you do not have to click anything you don't want to click. 5. **Don't participate in cyberbullying.** Don't send mean or threatening messages online, and don't engage with these types of messages or comments if you receive them. Cyberbullying is never okay. If you receive a mean or threatening message, talk to a grown up about how you might have it removed, have the person blocked, or otherwise resolve the situation. 6. **Be wary of contests or "freebies."** Contests and freebies are a very common way for scammers to get your personal information. Do not click links, download attachments, or provide personal information such as your name, phone number, address, passwords, etc. without permission from a parent or guardian, even if there is a "countdown clock" or other perceived sense of urgency. 7. **Don't download attachments or click links.** Attachments, links, software, or other downloads can have viruses or other malicious software attached to them that can harm your computer or phone or steal your personal information. Never click a link or download anything from anyone you don't know. 8. **If something seems fishy or unsafe, stop and ask for help.** Scammers can be sneaky and can even pretend to be someone you know. If something doesn't seem right or makes you feel unsafe, stop and ask for help from a parent or guardian. 1. Computer are used in education to get information. 2. In the field of medicine, computer technology is not useful. 3. Watchong movies and cartoons can also be done in computers. 4. Computers can be beneficial in many different ways. 5. It is healthy to spend a lot of time in computers. 6. Online safety refers to the act of staying safe online. 7. It is importamt to be aware of online security and safety. 8. Share your passwords with random people to protect your personal information. 9. Online safety are also known as internet safety, e-safety and cyber safety. 10. Ask for help if you feel uneasy or uncomfortable.
