G- Good M-Manner R-Right C-Conduct  Good Manners and Right Conduct (GMRC) and Values Education (VE) Good Manners and Right Conduct (GMRC) and Values Education (VE) are core subjects in the K to 12 Basic Education Program as mandated by Republic Act No. 11476, also known as the GMRC and Values Education Act. GMRC refers to specific and accepted social values, etiquette, and proper behavior that demonstrate respect for others. On the other hand, VE focuses on the internalization of values in students, aiming to teach ethical principles, the ability to act based on these principles, and the disposition to do so.  is a subject that is taught in schools in many countries, including the Philippines. The purpose of GMRC is to teach students the importance of good manners, respect for others, and moral values. It also aims to develop students into responsible and productive citizens. Here are some of the specific purposes of GMRC in education: To teach students the basic rules of etiquette and politeness. To help students develop respect for themselves, their elders, and others. To teach students the importance of honesty, integrity, and responsibility. To help students develop good decision-making skills. To teach students how to resolve conflicts peacefully. To help students become aware of their rights and responsibilities as citizens. Goals of GMRC and VE The primary goal of GMRC and Values Education is to shape Filipino youth who make responsible decisions, act with proper conduct and a preference for goodness, and live with love for God, self, family, fellow citizens, nature, country, and the world towards the common good. FOUR (4) CORE VALUES 1. Al-Eemaano Bil Kutub Belief in Revealed Books/Scriptures  Sacred Books revealed by Allah SWT 1. The Suhuf/Sheets or Scrolls of Ibraheem AS and Musa AS. 2. The Tawrat (Bible) of Moses (Musa AS). 3. The Zabur (Psalms) of David (Daud AS). 4. The Injeel (Gospel) of Jesus (Eisa AS). 5. The last and final is the Qur’an of Prophet Muhammad SAW. 4. Al-Eemaano Bir Rusool Believe in the Messengers  Belief in the Messenger Allah chose from mankind Prophets and Messengers to guide and invite people from His way. The first of the Prophets was Adam AS and the first of the Messengers was Noah AS, and the last of the Prophets and the Messengers was Muhammad SAW. ❖124,000 Anbiya/Prophets created bybAllah Azza Wa Jalla. ❖25 Prophets mentioned in the Holy Qur’an The prophets of Islam include: Adam, Idris (Enoch), Nuh (Noah), Hud (Heber), Saleh (Methusaleh), Lut (Lot), Ibrahim (Abraham), Ismail (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya’qub (Jacob), Yusuf (Joseph), Shu’aib (Jethro), Ayyub (Job), Dhulkifl (Ezekiel), Musa (Moses), Harun (Aaron), Dawud (David), Sulayman (Solomon), Ilyas (Elias), Alyasa (Elisha), Yunus (Jonah), Zakariya (Zachariah), Yahya (John the Baptist), Isa (Jesus) and Muhammad Peace be upon them all. ❖5 Ulul Azm or prophets who are special and prioritized among the prophets. They have a very strong character so that they get the title of Ulul Azmi, they are; Prophet Noah AS, Prophet Ibrahim AS, Prophet Musa AS, Prophet Isa AS and Prophet Muhammad SAW. ❖One strongest of the 5 Ulul Azm and he is the last and seal of all prophets. He is the Prophet Muhammad SAW (Khatamal Anbiya wa Arsalal Mursaleen). 5. Al-Eemaano Bil Yawmil Aakhir Believe in the Day of Judgement  Belief in the Last Day (The Day of Resurrection) “Every man’s fate (deed) We have fastened on his neck: on the Day of Judgment We shall bring out for him a book which he will see spread open. (It will be said to him) “Read thine (own) record: sufficient is thy soul this day to make an account against thee.” Qur’an 17:13-14 5. Al-Eemaano Bil Yawmil Aakhir Believe in the Day of Judgement  Belief in Qadar (Divine Preordainment) including the Good and Bad of it. It has many aspects, to wit: 1. Knowledge: We believe that Allah knows what had happened and what will happen and how it will happen. His knowledge is eternal. 2. Recording: We believe that out of His knowledge of what will happen, He recorded in the Preserved Tablet (Lawhil Mahfuz) whatever is going to happen until the Day of Judgment. 3. The Womb: We believe that at the beginning of the existence of man in the womb of his mother, an angel is ordered to record four matters. 4. Allah’s Will: We believe that nothing happens except as Allah wills, and out of His will He creates. 5. Good and Evil as a Test. 6. Man’s Limited Free Will. 7. Allah will not change the condition of man.  What are the Pillars of Islam? 1.
