It has coherence (pagkakaugnay ugnay), cohesion (pagkakaisa/unity), and organization (Samahan) to clearly communicate the intended meaning through a logical sequence of ideas. The purpose can be to inform, persuade, or entertain an audience. The two types of discourse are argumentation and narration. * **Argumentation** - The purpose of argumentation is to persuade the listener of the speaker's accuracy. * **Narration** - Is used to create a story or narrative heavily based in emotion to serve as support for the story's impact. ### Information Organization Information organization, sometimes called "knowledge organization," is a method for arranging and classifying data by listing, labeling, categorizing, or describing it. When we need to purposefully seek information, a framework is essential. Methods for organizing information in writing: 1. Chronologically 2. Order of importance 3. Spatial 4. Compare and contrast ### Brainstorming A brainstorming list is a collection of ideas written down during a brainstorming session. It's a tool that can help generate creative solutions to problems or explore new ideas. Here are some tips for making a brainstorming list: * Write down everything: It's helpful to write down every idea that comes to mind, even if it seems impractical or silly at first.
