Mutualism Parasitism Commensalism Symbiosis review Let’s play a game – Species Survival Each student is assigned an animal card Each animal has different needs (food, Water, Shelter) This game will have 2 rounds: In each round students will try to meet their survival needs by collecting the correct number of food, Water, and Shelter cards At the end of each round students who DID NOT meet their needs will lose 1 of their 2 lives. Running, pushing, or other physical contact will lose you a life automatically. Post Game discussion How did the scarcity (small amount) of resources affect your strategy? Did anyone lose a life because they couldn't gather enough resources? What do you think that represents in the real world? How does competition for resources shape ecosystems in nature?
