Proprietary software is copyrighted software that restricts the redistribution or modification of its program. Proprietary software, also known as closed-source software, is non-free computer software for which the software's publisher or another person retains intellectual property rights—usually copyright of the source code but sometimes patent rights. These applications are commonly known as apps and are designed to provide similar services that can be accessed on PCs. Some common mobile app stores are: Google Play Store – Official app store for android operating system. App Store – Official app store for iOS operating system. Window store – Oppicial app store for Windows operating system. Mobile apps are normally downloaded from application distribution platforms which are operated by the owner of the mobile operating system, such as the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store. Some apps are free, and others have a price, with the profit being split between the application’s creator and the distribution platform. Mobile applications often stand in contrast to desktop applications which are designed to run on desktop computers and web application which run in mobile web browsers rather than directly on the mobile device. BHIM App This app is a Unified Payment Interface (UPI) and was developed by the National Payment Corporation of India. Some features of the app are as follows: Eliminates the use of physical documents. Users can access their documents and certificates from your DigiLocker on their mobile devices.
