I have interest in studying antimicrobial compound producing bacteria and in ways bacteria confer themselves antibiotic resistance. Summary of Qualifications: M. Phil Biological Sciences BS (Hons) Applied Microbiology Professional Experience: I am lecturer, with almost seven years of experience of teaching and research in Department of Microbiology, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore. I have also worked as a research assistant in University of Arkansas Medical School, USA from August 2018-August 2020. I rotated in bacteriology, immunology, virology and molecular biology labs. I learned various cell culture techniques, plaque assay and various molecular techniques and immunological techniques. I also conducted experiments to decipher innate immune signaling pathway in fibroblasts in the presence of Shigella infection.
