Indian Participation: None. 2️. Wood’s Despatch (1854) Education Levels: Primary, Secondary, and Higher (P-S-H). Universities: Established Calcutta, Bombay, and Madras Universities. 🏛Languages: Allowed Sanskrit & Arabic alongside English. Medium: Local language for schools, English for higher education. Secular Education&Grants-in-Aid system. Special Focus: Education for Muslims. Indian Participation: None. 3️. Hunter Commission (1882-83) Objective: Review the progress of Wood’s Despatch. Education Levels: P-S-H. 🇬🇧First Commission under British Crown rule. Indian Participation: None. 4️. Rayleigh Commission (1902-04) Focus: Only on Higher Education (H). 🏛Autonomy: Reduced university autonomy. Indian Participation: None. 5. Sadler Commission (1917-19) Education Levels: Focused on Higher Education (H). Indian Representation: Included. 🛠Emphasis: Vocational & Technical education. Recommendation: 12 years of schooling before university. 6️. Hartog Committee (1929) Education Levels: P-S-H. Highlight: Inefficiencies in primary education. 7️.
