Humans are Social Creatures. We live in Families, we Work in Teams, we Envision duty and purpose through religious fellowship, we Negotiate through Economic Alliances and Political Coalitions, and our Norms are shaped by our culture, itself an emergent property of group-living. What is the Importance of Social Being? Socializing not only Staves off feelings of loneliness, but also it helps sharpen memory and Cognitive Skills, Increasing your sense of happiness and well-being, and may even help you live longer. How can I be a good Social Being? Improve your Emotional intelligence. Put yourself in their 1. shoes. 2. Look inwards. Pay attention to your emotions. 3. Practice effective communication skills. 4. Fake it ‘till you make it. 5. Ask more than you speak. 6. Give compliments. 7. Be polite. 8. Use open body language and non-verbal communication. 9. Read the News. 10. Don’t let your thoughts get the best of you. 11. Start small. What is Social Connection?  The Experiences of feeling close and having a sense of belonging with others. No matter your age, gender or culture, Social Connections are a Fundamental human need. Positive and meaningful relationships makes us feel happy. Connected and secure. How do we feel connected?  We feel connected to people when we interact with them in our daily lives, whether that’s face-to-face, over the phone or online. This may include interactions with Family, Friends, Workmates, or anyone else you regularly engage with in your community. Why is Social Connection Important?  Having positive social relationship doesn’t just make us feel good. There is evidence to show that stronger social connection can positively impact our mental, emotional and physical wellbeing, Including: Why is Social Connection Important?  Lower levels of anxiety and depression.  Higher self-esteem.  Greater empathy for others.  Strengthened immunity.  Reduce risk of developing dementia as we age.  Increased longevity. Extending their help and support to their colleagues and teachers - an act of a true PhilSCAN.  The embodiment of being a partner, provider of unconditional service to others and uphold social responsibility throughout their life as being products of government managed educational institution is what PHILSCA holds. Interconnectedness means being the intermediate and connection from one affinity to another. It’s about combining to concepts and or persons for one common role or responsibility. This way of living is being related to being socially responsible. Being there has a meaning and the existence of one is an important factor for to be alive. As Elber (2016) had written it, “all of us who dwell on this planet are part of one great living organism which is the earth itself” We are all interconnected. Sharing the same air, feelings, experience, and circumstances – we are one. Furthermore, from this perspective, just as every organ of the human body has an essential function and must be healthy to perform its function optimally, so all the various inhabitants of the earth have their essential functions in the life of others. We become one living organism. Every component including the inanimate. A single child, a group of aunts, and even a bunch of siblings and peers, they are called to be living partners of the world. It’s often easy to forget the Interconnectedness of all life on this planet and to have an inflated view of ourselves as the center of the universe. THE IMPACT OF ACADEMIC LESSONS TO THE LIVES OF A PHILSCAN  To determine the growth for each student, curriculum achievement standards should be fully met and thus be fully understood by the students. Chances are students will be able to manifest a deeper understanding to their character and being connected with others. IMPACT OF ACADEMIC LESSONS To Students  Gains knowledge and understanding.  Enhances capabilities and skills of the students.  Improves ethical conduct, improved motivations and better attitude on a holistic way. The goal of every instructor is to share/impart academic and life-long lessons and knowledge to their students.
