In a good argumentative essay, a writer attempts to persuade readers to understand and support their point of view about a topic by stating their reasoning and providing evidence to back it up. Argumentative essays should have a straightforward structure, so, they are easy for readers to follow. The goal of an argumentative essay is to clearly outline a point of view, reasoning, and evidence. A good argumentative essay should follow this structure:  STEPS Introductory paragraph. The first paragraph of your essay should outline the topic, provide background information necessary to. understand your argument, outline the evidence you will present and states your thesis. The thesis statement. This is part of your first paragraph. It is a concise, one- sentence summary of your main point and claim. Body paragraphs. A typical argumentative essay comprises three or more paragraphs that explain the reasons why you support your thesis. Each body paragraph should cover a different idea or piece of evidence and contain a topic sentence that clearly and concisely explains why the reader should agree with your position. Body paragraphs are where you back up your claims with examples, researches, statistics, studies, and text citations. Address opposing points of view and disprove them or explain why you disagree with them. Presenting facts and considering a topic from every angle adds credibility and will help you gain a reader's trust. Conclusion.It has a paragraph that restates your thesis and summarizes all of the arguments made in your body paragraphs. Normally, when the rays hit the ground, they are supposed to be reflected back into space. For example, policies have been adopted by different organizations to ensure that there is the minimal release of greenhouse gases. Also, some technologies have been adopted to ensure that green gas ermission is lowered to manageable levels. For example, the automobile industry has created Hydroelectric Vehicles  which utilize green energy. Such a strategy is important because it minimizes pollution to a greater extent. In addition, some companies have established policies that encourage environmental conservation. For instance, some organizations are encouraging the planting of trees so that it could reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. It is believed that many trees help in purifying the air in the atmosphere. This strategy helps in controlling global warming. In conclusion, it can be clearly seen that global warming is really becoming a major problem today. Many lives and people's property are being lost due to the impacts of global warming. For example, extreme weather conditions, like too much rain are causing floods and storms. Also, as a result of extreme weather conditions, prolonged droughts have become common and affecting the lives of both humans and Conclusion animals in a negative manner. Since food is a means of livelihood, many people are starving because of the issue of prolonged droughts. However, many strategies have been proposed to prevent the issues from getting out of hand. Establishment policies and laws to prevent global warming have received a worldwide attention.
