Job Title: AAP Field Officer Job Code \-\-\-- Department: MEAL Report to: MEAL Officer Number of Reports: 1 monthly reports + ad-hoc reports **Job Purpose** As an AAP Field Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organization\'s work is accountable to the people we serve. You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring accountability mechanisms, ensuring that the voices and needs of affected populations are heard and addressed in our programs. **Key Responsibilities** **1: Implementation of AAP Mechanisms** 1. Develop and implement accountability mechanisms, such as feedback and complaint response mechanisms (CRM). 2. Ensure accessibility of these mechanisms to all segments of the affected population, considering gender, age, disability, and other vulnerabilities. **2: Community Engagement** 1. Conduct regular community outreach and awareness sessions on the organization's accountability mechanisms. 2. Facilitate community discussions and focus group sessions to understand community needs and perceptions. **3: Feedback Management** 1. Collect, document, and analyze feedback from affected communities. 2. Coordinate with program teams to ensure timely responses to feedback and complaints. **4: Monitoring and Reporting** 1. Regularly monitor the effectiveness of AAP mechanisms and suggest improvements. 2. Prepare reports on feedback trends, issues raised by communities, and actions taken. **5: Capacity Building** 1. Train and support staff and volunteers on AAP principles and practices. 2. Raise awareness among staff about the importance of accountability in humanitarian work. **6: Collaboration** 1. Work closely with other departments to integrate AAP in all aspects of the program. 2. Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Humanitarian Affairs, or related field. 2. At least 2 years of experience in humanitarian or development work, preferably with a focus on accountability, community engagement, or related areas. 3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 4. Ability to work in challenging and changing environments, and to adapt to diverse cultural contexts. 5. Proficient in data collection, analysis, and report writing. 6. Fluency in Syrian language and English (both oral and written). 7.
