Summary

This research examines the analgesic effect of Diclofenac Sodium in mice. The study observes how acetic acid induces writhing in mice, and then measures the effectiveness of Diclofenac Sodium in reducing this reaction. The experiment details preparations, methods, observations, and the calculation of analgesic percentage.

The analgesic effect of Diclofenac Sodium Luan Haiyun Experimental purposes 实验目的  To observe writhing induced by acetic acid and the analgesic effect of Diclofenac Sodium in mice.  Observe acetic acid induced writhing  Observe analgesic effect of Diclofenac Sodium NSAIDs (-) COX PG analgesic Experimental Principle Experimental Material  Animal: 4 mice, 20~25g  Drugs: Saline, Acetic acid (0.6%), Diclofenac Sodium solution Experiment Procedure: Ⅰ. Grouping: 4 mice, divided into two groups Weigh and mark them. 2 mice each group, two groups (control & test) Ⅱ. Drug injection: Prepare drug dose according to the mice weight Infection: 1st : IP inject the Saline & Diclofenac Sodium 2nd : after 20 min, IP inject the Acetic acid Ⅲ. Observe & record: After acetic acid injection, we should observe whether the mice have writhing and record the number of writhing animals in each group within 15 minutes. Experiment Result & analysis: Summarize the results of the whole lab and calculate analgesic percentage of Diclofenac Sodium. Table 1. The bottle must be covered after each use. ( volatile )  (2) The writhing of low weight mice is not obvious, so we should choose the mice with right weight (20~24g).  (3) The temperature of the lab should be kept at 18~22 ℃, because the room temperature(high or low) can affect the writhing of mice.
