Management of people on a nursing unit is a complex, time-consuming task. Eg: for recruitment 15 y y y 15 Nurse Manager must have immediate access to such information as the following. 16 Skills and education of all nursing employees Job classif ication and salary level for all staff on the unit Dates for performance reviews and reports of performance appraisal Dates for recertification of medically Dates for annual in service education sessions 17 Annual vacation schedule summary for the unit.
