Cleanliness & Safety AREA COACH – DOS & DON’TS First DO’  Area coaches are primarily responsible for monitoring S day-to-day activity. RSP’s  Remember! The Area Coach’s main role is to COACHING  Coach politely like a good coach, not like a boss.  Analyze all facts before making any decision  Solve problems with a systematic approach  Separate problems in subjects such as product, service, cleanliness, equipment, supplies, etc.  Make sure you know what the root cause is.  Area coaches have to spend more time in the Dine-in area by monitoring store operations.  Any reports (MRM & others), query (outstanding & others) & consolidation has to be done by Admin by coordinating with Area coaches.  Spend more time in training & conducting OJT for the store team.  QSC audit has to be done along with the Retail Service Provider or Team leader  Write every action needed with a timeline and a responsible person.  Decide on the solutions with the Retail Service Provider/Team Leader.  Find things to compliment for building morale and motivation.  Not only looking for false but find something to compliment at least 3 things in each visit.  Have deep knowledge of standard and working procedures to provide correct advice.  If punishment is needed, determine how to punish together with the Retail Service Provider/Team Leader by asking, if they could not do as promised, what.
