Permanent Teeth Mesiolingual cusp tip of lower 6 The state of dentition At 6 Months old Deciduous Teeth lower A erupted & 1/3 of root formed. lower B not erupted & less 1/3 of root formed More parts of lower C,D & E are formed. Permanent Teeth Incisal thirds of 1 & 2 are formed. Cusp tip of lower 3 is formed. Occlusal1/3 of lower 6 is formed. The state of dentition At 3 Years old Deciduous Teeth All are formed with their roots. Permanent Teeth Crowns of lower 1&2 not completed yet Half crown of lower canine. Parts of lower 4 & 5 are formed. Crown of lower 6 is completed. Occlusal 1/3 of lower 7 is formed. The state of dentition At 6 year old Deciduous Teeth lower A may be shedded & replaced lower 1. B, C & D show different amounts of root resorption. E starts root resorption at 7 years old. Permanent Teeth Lower 1 erupted with 1/3 root is formed. Lower 2 not erupted with less than 1/3 root is formed. Crowns of lower 3,4 & 5 may be completed. Lower 6 is erupted with 1/3 of root is formed. Crown of lower 7 is not completed yet. The state of dentition At 9 Years old Deciduous Teeth All primary teeth are shedded except second molar E Permanent Teeth Lower 1 is erupted with full root. Lower 2 is erupted without full root. Lower 3 may be erupted with 1/3 root is formed. Lower 4 & 5 are not erupted yet. Lower 6 is erupted with full root. Crown of lower 7 is completed with less than 1/3 root. Lower 8 begins calcification. The state of dentition At 12 Years old Deciduous Teeth All primary teeth are shedded Permanent Teeth All teeth are erupted except lower 8.
