- Deciduous teeth: half crown of lower is formed
- Deciduous teeth: cusp tip of lower is formed
- Permanent teeth: mesiolingual cusp tip of lower 6 is formed
Dentition at 6 Months
- Deciduous teeth: lower A is erupted and 1/3 of root is formed
- Deciduous teeth: lower B is not erupted and less than 1/3 of root is formed
- Deciduous teeth: more parts of lower C, D, and E are formed
- Permanent teeth: incisal thirds of 1 and 2 are formed
- Permanent teeth: cusp tip of lower 3 is formed
- Permanent teeth: occlusal 1/3 of lower 6 is formed
Dentition at 3 Years
- Deciduous teeth: all are formed with their roots
- Permanent teeth: crowns of lower 1 and 2 are not completed yet
- Permanent teeth: half crown of lower canine is formed
- Permanent teeth: parts of lower 4 and 5 are formed
- Permanent teeth: crown of lower 6 is completed
- Permanent teeth: occlusal 1/3 of lower 7 is formed
Dentition at 6 Years
- Deciduous teeth: lower A may be shedded and replaced, lower 1
- Deciduous teeth: B, C, and D show different amounts of root resorption
