EIWS NCTS SICILY SPECIFIC 201 ORGANIZATION 1 201.1 State the NCTS Sicily’s mission in the AOR Plans, synchronizes and executes electromagnetic (EM) and cyberspace actions and activities; to include deployment, operations, maintenance and maneuver of communications, command and control, computer (C4), cybersecurity and cyberspace defense capabilities, in order to shape the operating environment and generate a warfighting advantage for U.S. and partner forces. 2 201.2 Explain the relationship between NCTS Sicily and the following: – NAS Sigonella Primary user of NCTS Sicily’s ONE-NET, DSN, and Base wide services. – CTF-67 Primary user for HF/UKF communications, managed by the TSCOMM Watch floor, supporting P-8 missions in the AOR. – 7RS Users of Air Force NIPR/SIPR networks routed through NCTS Sicily, CMS services provided by NCTS Sicily and drone data lines. – CTF-69 Primary user of LF services in the AOR, serves as the Broadcast Control Authority (BCA) for the region. 3 201.2 Explain the relationship between NCTS Sicily and the following: – NCTS Naples NCTS Sicily’s operational ISIC. – NCTAMS LANT NCTS Sicily’s administrative ISIC. 4 201.3 Define and Discuss the CDO and their roles and responsibilities – Command Duty Officer. SARCs and SAPR VAs offer expertise to prepare victims for the road ahead and will advocate on behalf of a victim along the way. 10 201.6 Define and discuss roles and responsibilities of the following: – Command Career Counselor (CCC) Lead: ET1 Sizemore They serve as the critical link between a Sailor, their command, and supporting Navy organizations, including Navy Personnel Command (NPC). On behalf of the Commanding Officer, the CCC is responsible for managing the command's Career Development Program. – Drug and Alcohol Program Advisor Lead: ITC Fisk The primary objectives of the Navy Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention program are to: Promote readiness, health and wellness through the prevention and treatment of substance abuse. Prevent the negative effects of substance abuse to the sailor, family and organization. 11 201.6 Define and discuss roles and responsibilities of the following: – Operations Security (OPSEC) Officer Lead: LT Dean OPSEC is keeping potential adversaries from dis- covering information needed to keep our Soldiers safe and our missions secret. This information includes, but is not limited to, planned operations, operations in progress, and operations completed. – Command Fitness Leader (CFL) Lead: LSC Wolford Plays an integral part in the overall fitness and readiness of sailors. – Command Financial Specialist (CFS) Lead: ET1 Coigny The command's principal advisor on policies and matters related to Personal Financial Management (PFM). CFSs are nominated by their commands as special assistants to senior leadership. 12 201.6 Define and discuss roles and responsibilities of the following: – Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) Officer Assists Navy families with special needs. – Suicide Prevention Officer Lead: CM1 Dillman Provides and assists sailors with tools and resources with the main goal of preventing suicides. – Ombudsman Lead: Mrs. Falicity Wheless Ombudsmen are volunteers appointed by a commanding officer (CO) to serve as an information link between command leadership and command families.
