Microsoft Excel It is from the Microsoft Office suite and is one of the most famous programs for electronic spreadsheets, as it contains many tools that can be used to perform various tasks, and this includes many fields, including statistics, financial calculations, data analysis, forecasting calculations, databases, graphs, and even text editing. And image processing. Excel, like the rest of the Office suite, contains the title bar, status bar, toolbar, worksheet, and other details shown below. The active cell is the cell whose borders appear in bold. Click on the file that contains Excel options, including printing and saving. Formula bar: When a value or formula is entered into a cell, it appears in the formula bar. Name box: This box shows the title or name of the cell or selected elements. worksheets Each worksheet consists of rows and columns. The rows take the numbers from 1 to 1048576, and the columns from A to Z and are subject to increase and change, meaning they become AA, and so on. The intersection of any row with a column is called a cell. Every cell has a title. For example, the intersection of column A with the first row produces cell A1. At any time, one cell is the active cell. The active cell is the cell that receives input from the user. The active cell can be identified by the edges of the cell that appear in dark color. Navigate between worksheet cells You can use the mouse to move between worksheet cells, but in many cases it is easier and faster to use the keyboard. To move around the worksheet using the keyboard, it is possible to use the following commands: Enter: To move to the cell located below the active cell. Shift + Enter : Move to the cell above the active cell. Teb: To move to the cell located to the right of the active cell (if the paper orientation is from left to right). Shift + Tab: To move to the cell located to the left of the active cell (if the paper orientation is from left to right). Delete cell contents: To delete the contents of a cell or a group of cells, select the required cells and then click Delete. In this case we only deleted the contents but not the formatting from the cells. To have more control over what we want to delete, we go to the Home tab, then to Editing, then Clear. We click on the drop-down menu and it appears: Clear All: Clears everything from cells including formatting and notes. Clear Format: Clears the format only. Clear Comments: Clears notes only. Clear Hypelinks: Erases hyperlinks from the cell while keeping the text formatted as if it contained a hyperlink. Remove Hyperlinks: Erases hyperlinks from the cell while removing text formatting. Enter data into more than one cell at the same time by pressing Ctrl + Enter Enter a group of consecutive numbers into a range of cells using the AutoFill feature: We enter the number 1 in the first cell and 2 in the next cell, then select them with the mouse. Then we stop with the mouse cursor on the fill handle and continue dragging to the desired number.
