Black Canvas (lienzo negro):** A situation in which nothing has been planned or decided yet, so people are free to decide what should be done. **Example: **Some authors work with a [blank canvas]. **2. State of the art (estado del arte):** Very modern and using the newest technology, ideas, or methods. **Example:** Thanks for the tip! Your ideas are [state-of-the-art]. **3. As pretty as a picture (tan bonita/o como una foto):** attractive, beautiful, handsome. Used only for people. **Example: **Everyone looked [as pretty as a picture] on the last Fashion Day. **4.
