**[What is On-Premises & Traditional ]** On-premise is a more traditional IT (Information Technology) infrastructure method where the physical hardware, software, and data are stored on-site and maintained by own **[What is Cloud Computing ]** Cloud computing is the practice of using a network of remote servers has on the internet to store manage and process data rather than a local server or a personal computer. Cloud computing is the delivery of computing services using a network of remote servers hosted on the internet to store, man age, and analyze data **[Cloud Computing Models]** There are 2 type of cloud computing models Deployment Model & Service Model **[Deployment Models ]** **Public Cloud** The cloud resources (like servers and storage) are owned and operated by a third-party cloud service provider and delivered over the internet. With a public cloud, all hardware, software and other supporting infrastructure are owned and managed by the cloud provider. **Microsoft Azure, AWS and GCP is an example of a public cloud.** **Private Cloud** Some vendors sell private clouds as an all-in-one bundle of hardware and software. It\'s generally a simple platform that exists on the user\'s premises and may or may not be provider-managed environments. Examples include **HPE GreenLake and Azure Stack**. **Hybrid Cloud** A hybrid cloud is a type of cloud computing that combines on-premises infrastructure-or a private cloud-with a public cloud. Hybrid clouds allow data and apps to move between the two environments. A Hybrid cloud integrates infrastructure components on-premises, private, and public cloud sources into one centralized, dis tributed computing environment. It enables you to manage and orchestrate traditional and cloud native workloads across various infrastructure components, allowing you to use the most suitable resource for each scenario while centralizing management. The most common hybrid cloud example is to **use public cloud with private cloud services and on-premises infrastructure.** However, there\'s no one hybrid cloud configuration or one-size-fits-all architecture. A hybrid cloud could combine a public cloud and a private cloud running on-premises or on the edge **[Links to understand - Deep Dive on Deployment Models ]** -cloud/\#:\"text=Things9%20that%20people%20often%20consider,giants%20like%20Microsoft%2C%20Amazon%20etc. **[Service Models]** IAAS, PAAS & SAAS Infrastructure as a service Infrastructure as a service (laaS) is a type of cloud computing service that offers essential compute, storage, and networking resources on demand, on a pay-as-you-go basis. laaS is one of the four types of cloud services **Platform as Service** Platform as a service (PaaS) is a complete development and deployment environment in the cloud, with resources that enable you to deliver everything from simple cloud-based apps to sophisticated, cloud-enabled enterprise applications. You purchase the resources you need from a cloud service provider on a pay-as-you-go basis and access them over a secure Internet connection **Software as Service** Software as a service (SaaS) allows users to connect to and use cloud-based apps over the Internet. Common examples are email, calendaring, and office tools (such as Microsoft Office 365). **[Link to understand- Deep Dive on Service Models ]** vice%20(IaaS,(PaaS)%2C%20and%20serverless.
