Setting Up XLOC
- XLOC is a computer-assisted translation (CAT) tool for editing game text.
- Credentials are available in Project Info or provided by the lead.
- Use the right credentials for the assigned language to avoid lockout.
Logging in XLOC
- Enter correct credentials to avoid lockout.
- Entering incorrect credentials 3 times or more will lock out all users.
- If you fail twice, stop trying and double-check your account with the lead.
Finding Your Project
- Select User Profile at the top of the screen.
- Choose your project from the dropdown and select Change.
- If unsure, ask the lead or check Project Info.
Searching through Strings
- Select the first tab on the left, "Strings".
- Use the Search bar to locate a String ID, source, or translation.
- Narrow your search by selecting from the dropdown above the search bar.
