    • Water Rescue Boat and Trailer
  • Minimum daily staffing of the WRT should include at least two (2) currently trained and certified Water Rescue Technicians.

Non-Water Rescue Emergency Response

  • When Medic Engine 7 is dispatched to any emergency call excluding Water Rescue Incidents, the crews respond from quarters/on air in the Medic Engine, unless requested.
  • When conducting business inside the assigned medical medic district, Medic Engine 7 travel in the engine, but in rare cases, the Water Rescue Officer should notify the Dispatch Center and appropriate Battalion Chief.
  • When conducting business outside assigned medical district, the Water Rescue Team can travel in Water Rescue 7 to facilitate rapid response to Water Rescue call, by notifying the Dispatch Center and Battalion 2.
